Vopak reported on Tuesday first quarter earnings that missed analysts' forecasts and revenue that fell short of expectations.
Vopak announced earnings per share of €0.65 on revenue of €296.9M. Analysts polled by anticipated EPS of €0.70 on revenue of €305.00M. That with comparison to EPS of €0.65 on revenue of €324.6M in the same period a year before. Vopak had reported EPS of €0.72 on revenue of €299M in the previous quarter.
Vopak shares are up 7% from the beginning of the year , still down 1.41% from its 52 week high of €52.50 set on February 12. They are outperforming the STOXX 600 which is down 21.35% year to date.
Vopak shares gained 1.49% in intra-day trade following the report.
