Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.73%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Real Estate Development and Energy&Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.73%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 8.71% or 0.91 points to trade at 11.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) added 8.16% or 2.32 points to end at 30.75 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was up 4.24% or 0.76 points to 18.68 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060), which fell 3.28% or 1.05 points to trade at 30.95 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 2.67% or 0.76 points to end at 27.70 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was down 2.62% or 1.87 points to 69.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 82 and 5 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 8.16% or 2.32 to 30.75.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.52% or 0.37 to $71.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.52% or 0.41 to hit $79.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1289.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.4261, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7508.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.33.
