Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto&components, Materials and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 0.96% or 1.8 points to trade at 183.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI) added 0.69% or 1.50 points to end at 219.70 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 0.23% or 0.18 points to 76.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which fell 6.45% or 3.340 points to trade at 48.460 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 5.02% or 1.51 points to end at 28.55 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 4.03% or 2.15 points to 51.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 149 to 55 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) fell to 3-years lows; losing 5.02% or 1.51 to 28.55.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.11% or 1.68 to $55.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.56% or 1.55 to hit $62.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.83% or 26.15 to trade at $1458.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.58% to 9.9055, while USD/NOK rose 0.30% to 8.9127.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 97.840.
