Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Beverages&Tobacco, Auto&components and Healthcare Equipment&Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.63% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker ASA (OL:AKER), which rose 5.28% or 33.0 points to trade at 658.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 3.80% or 0.73 points to end at 19.93 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 2.48% or 5.7 points to 235.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which fell 5.87% or 9.3 points to trade at 149.0 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 5.62% or 2.62 points to end at 44.00 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI) was down 4.42% or 8.90 points to 192.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 111 to 107 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.62% or 2.62 to 44.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.33% or 0.79 to $60.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.55% or 0.37 to hit $67.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1297.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 9.6684, while USD/NOK fell 0.24% to 8.6157.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 96.825.
