The firm reported earnings per share of $0.13 on revenue of $473.8M. Analysts polled by forecast EPS of $-0.15 on revenue of $415.8M. That compared to EPS of $-0.29 on revenue of $320.98M in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $-0.05 on revenue of $428.02M in the previous quarter.
MercadoLibre shares gained 11.17% to trade at $536.25 in after-hours trade following the report.
