Germany stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Construction, Industrials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the DAX rose 3.70%, while the MDAX index gained 5.18%, and the TecDAX index gained 3.34%.
The best performers of the session on the DAX were Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE:HEIG), which rose 11.51% or 3.420 points to trade at 33.140 at the close. Meanwhile, Fresenius SE&Co KGAA O.N. (DE:FREG) added 10.11% or 2.595 points to end at 28.250 and Allianz SE VNA O.N. (DE:ALVG) was up 9.52% or 11.63 points to 133.73 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (DE:FMEG), which fell 3.65% or 2.140 points to trade at 56.460 at the close. E.ON SE NA (DE:EONGn) declined 3.54% or 0.303 points to end at 8.268 and Muench. Rueckvers. VNA O.N. (DE:MUVGn) was down 3.51% or 5.70 points to 156.75.
The top performers on the MDAX were Osram Licht AG (DE:OSRn) which rose 39.64% to 31.00, Rheinmetall AG (DE:RHMG) which was up 20.87% to settle at 53.740 and Airbus Group SE (DE:AIRG) which gained 17.64% to close at 63.56.
The worst performers were Siltronic AG (DE:WAFGn) which was down 6.53% to 51.260 in late trade, Uniper SE (DE:UN01) which lost 4.08% to settle at 23.030 and Aareal Bank AG (DE:ARLG) which was down 4.04% to 14.485 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Dialog Semiconductor (DE:DLGS) which rose 11.46% to 20.235, Bechtle AG (DE:BC8G) which was up 8.27% to settle at 95.550 and Aixtron SE (DE:AIXGn) which gained 7.51% to close at 6.728.
The worst performers were Siltronic AG (DE:WAFGn) which was down 6.53% to 51.260 in late trade, Siemens Healthineers AG (DE:SHLG) which lost 1.59% to settle at 34.08 and Freenet AG NA (DE:FNTGn) which was down 1.41% to 15.750 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 489 to 213 and 28 ended unchanged.

Shares in Aareal Bank AG (DE:ARLG) fell to 5-year lows; down 4.04% or 0.610 to 14.485. Shares in Siltronic AG (DE:WAFGn) fell to 3-years lows; falling 6.53% or 3.580 to 51.260.
The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 11.61% to 67.93.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.43% or 6.30 to $1485.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 4.44% or 1.15 to hit $24.76 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.60% or 0.17 to trade at $28.64 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.32% to 1.0655, while EUR/GBP fell 1.49% to 0.9166.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 103.290.
