Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Utilities and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.03% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.55% or 0.2340 points to trade at 5.3800 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 2.85% or 0.210 points to end at 7.566 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 2.65% or 0.65 points to 25.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YIT), which fell 6.30% or 0.38 points to trade at 5.58 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) declined 1.64% or 0.29 points to end at 17.65 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 1.08% or 0.45 points to 41.26.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.30% or 0.38 to 5.58.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 1.65% or 1.22 to $75.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.70% or 0.48 to hit $68.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.90 to trade at $1317.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.30% to 1.2095, while EUR/GBP fell 0.18% to 0.8785.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 91.52.
