Ethereum Climbs Above 250.01 Level, Up 13%

Ethereum rose above the $250.01 threshold on Thursday. Ethereum was trading at 250.01 by 20:14 (00:14 GMT) on the Index, up 13.04% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since May 15.

The move upwards pushed Ethereum's market cap up to $26.14B, or 10.26% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum's market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $247.19 to $250.01 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a rise in value, as it gained 44.15%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $13.28B or 13.99% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $168.8628 to $250.0136 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 82.43% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.
