Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) reported second quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.19 on revenue of $1.28B. Analysts polled by expected EPS of $0.86 on revenue of $1.25B. That compared to EPS of $0.97 on revenue of $1.22B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.3 on revenue of $743M in the previous quarter.

Electronic Arts follows other major Technology sector earnings this month
