Economic Calendar: Top Things To Watch

The housing market is in focus with reports on existing home sales (Monday) and new home sales (Wednesday). Earnings are due out from Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (Mon.), AT&T (NYSE:T) (Tues.), Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) (Weds.), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) (Thurs.) and Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) (Fri.). The oil markets will key off of weekly inventory reports from the API (Tuesday) and the EIA (Wednesday). The European Central Bank's monetary policy committee meets on Thursday. No change is expected. On Friday, look for reports on second-quarter GDP, core PCE prices and the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index.
