The firm reported earnings per share of $0.68 on revenue of $2.69. Analysts polled by forecast EPS of $0.62 on revenue of $2.68B. That compared to EPS of $0.53 on revenue of $2.64B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.67 on revenue of $2.64B in the previous quarter.
eBay shares gained 3.51% to trade at $40.40 in after-hours trade following the report.
