Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Oil&Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 0.86% or 6.5 points to trade at 765.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 0.51% or 3.40 points to end at 669.40 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.45% or 4.4 points to 980.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 2.37% or 9.2 points to trade at 380.9 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 2.21% or 17.0 points to end at 752.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.11% or 210 points to 9764.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 55 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) rose to 5-year highs; rising 0.86% or 6.5 to 765.0.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.33% or 0.20 to $61.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.35% or 0.23 to hit $66.33 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.75 to trade at $1479.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.7215, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4719.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 96.970.
