Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil&Gas, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.87% or 11.1 points to trade at 398.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.20% or 3.7 points to end at 171.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.65% or 58 points to 9022 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 6.56% or 13.3 points to trade at 189.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.36% or 10.0 points to end at 414.1 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 1.23% or 3.2 points to 256.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.22% or 1.56 to $68.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.66% or 1.32 to hit $78.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1209.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.3877, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4594.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 94.59.
