Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil&Gas and Personal&Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.51% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 7.83% or 7.8 points to trade at 108.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 5.22% or 16.9 points to end at 340.6 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 3.10% or 9.5 points to 315.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.88% or 6.5 points to trade at 219.3 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.74% or 8.8 points to end at 312.3 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 0.53% or 1.05 points to 195.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 56 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.24% or 0.13 to $53.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $62.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.85 to trade at $1331.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.10% to 6.5955, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4688.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 96.708.
