Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Software&Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 3.20% or 10.2 points to trade at 331.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.77% or 21.5 points to end at 1238.5 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.62% or 5.1 points to 320.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 1.21% or 7.2 points to trade at 588.8 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.02% or 80 points to end at 7766 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.77% or 0.8 points to 103.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.77% or 21.5 to 1238.5.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.25% or 0.14 to $56.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.36% or 0.23 to hit $64.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.75 to trade at $1423.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.6974, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4676.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.333.
