Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software&Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 1.29% or 12.6 points to trade at 992.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 1.22% or 9.6 points to end at 794.6 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.17% or 4.4 points to 381.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.41% or 134 points to trade at 9380 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 1.28% or 3.3 points to end at 255.3 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.13% or 1.0 points to 91.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 59 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.20% or 0.11 to $56.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $60.95 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.09% or 16.05 to trade at $1485.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.7384, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4716.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 97.618.
