Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Personal&Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.30% or 31.6 points to trade at 987.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.44% or 10.6 points to end at 445.4 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.53% or 3.7 points to 245.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.89% or 3.1 points to trade at 345.9 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 0.86% or 4.6 points to end at 528.6 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.41% or 1.7 points to 411.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 56 to 56 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; rising 2.44% or 10.6 to 445.4.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.19% or 1.46 to $68.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.62% or 1.98 to hit $77.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1300.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.97% to 6.3863, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4439.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 94.08.
