Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Oil&Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.44% or 284 points to trade at 8550 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 2.80% or 1.76 points to end at 64.70 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 2.59% or 4.6 points to 181.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 1.99% or 8.20 points to trade at 404.30 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.12% or 7.4 points to end at 651.2 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.07% or 3.5 points to 318.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 46 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.25% or 0.17 to $67.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.55% or 0.40 to hit $72.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.89% or 10.90 to trade at $1217.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.4205, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4524.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 95.23.
