Cincinnati Financial (NASDAQ:CINF) reported on Monday first quarter earnings that missed analysts' forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

Cincinnati Financial announced earnings per share of $0.84 on revenue of $1.46B. Analysts polled by anticipated EPS of $1.05 on revenue of $1.44B. That with comparison to EPS of $1.05 on revenue of $1.33B in the same period a year before. Cincinnati Financial had reported EPS of $1.23 on revenue of $1.44B in the previous quarter. Analysts are expecting EPS of $0.75 and revenue of $1.46B in the upcoming quarter.
