China stocks were mixed after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media, Telecoms and Mobile sectors led shares higher while losses in the Life Insurance, Oil Equipment Services&Distribution and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite fell 0.10%, while the SZSE Component index gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Shanghai Composite were SEC Electric Machinery Co Ltd (SS:603988), which rose 10.02% or 1.72 points to trade at 18.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Huada Automotive Technology Co Ltd (SS:603358) added 10.01% or 1.75 points to end at 19.23 and Kingclean Electric Co Ltd (SS:603355) was up 10.01% or 2.560 points to 28.140 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shangying Global Co Ltd (SS:600146), which fell 10.02% or 1.01 points to trade at 9.07 at the close. Fujian Longma Environmental Sanitation Equipment Co Ltd (SS:603686) declined 10.01% or 1.98 points to end at 17.80 and Shenzhen Geoway Co Ltd (SS:600462) was down 9.09% or 0.280 points to 2.800.
The top performers on the SZSE Component were Zhonghong Holding Co Ltd (SZ:000979) which rose 10.13% to 0.87, Henan Shenhuo Coal&Power Co Ltd (SZ:000933) which was up 9.96% to settle at 5.190 and Zhejiang Longsheng Auto Parts Co Ltd (SZ:002625) which gained 9.96% to close at 9.38.
The worst performers were Tonghua Golden-Horse Pharmaceutical Industry Co Ltd (SZ:000766) which was down 5.33% to 7.81 in late trade, Shandong Chenming Paper Holdings Ltd (SZ:000488) which lost 5.13% to settle at 7.03 and Beijing Orient Landscape Co Ltd (SZ:002310) which was down 4.16% to 12.91 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Shanghai Stock Exchange by 674 to 659 and 112 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shangying Global Co Ltd (SS:600146) fell to 3-years lows; down 10.02% or 1.01 to 9.07. Shares in Fujian Longma Environmental Sanitation Equipment Co Ltd (SS:603686) fell to 3-years lows; losing 10.01% or 1.98 to 17.80. Shares in Shenzhen Geoway Co Ltd (SS:600462) fell to 5-year lows; falling 9.09% or 0.280 to 2.800. Shares in Shandong Chenming Paper Holdings Ltd (SZ:000488) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.13% or 0.38 to 7.03. Shares in Beijing Orient Landscape Co Ltd (SZ:002310) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.16% or 0.56 to 12.91.
The CBOE China Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Shanghai Composite options, was up 7.29% to 22.37.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.10% or 1.20 to $1217.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.20% or 0.14 to hit $68.73 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $76.50 a barrel.
USD/CNY was down 0.07% to 6.8123, while EUR/CNY rose 0.01% to 7.9615.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 94.66.
