Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW) reported second quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.66 on revenue of $2.68B. Analysts polled by anticipated EPS of $0.65 on revenue of $2.67B. That compared to EPS of $0.6 on revenue of $2.49B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.69 on revenue of $2.72B in the previous quarter.
