Buffett: Buying Cryptocurrencies 'Isn't Investing'

Investing.com - Legendary investor Warren Buffett has weighed in again on cryptocurrencies and it is a little less scathing than his last set
of comments.
Buffett told Yahoo (NASDAQ:AABA) Finance that when you buy bitcoin or another cryptocurrency, you are not investing, you are speculating.
he explained. "If you wanna gamble somebody else will come along and pay more money tomorrow, that's
one kind of game. That is not investing."
Buffett, who is chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKa), said the problem with cryptocurrencies is that they have not "produced anything."
The so-called Sage of Omaha made headlines in January when he told CNBC he was certain that cryptocurrencies "will come to a bad ending."
Buffett will host Berkshire's annual shareholder meeting in Omaha, Neb. on May 5.
