Advance Auto Parts Earnings Miss, Revenue Beats In Q2

Advance Auto Parts reported second quarter earnings that missed analysts' expectations on Monday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.98 on revenue of $2.95B. Analysts polled by forecast EPS of $2.23 on revenue of $2.37B. That compared to EPS of $1.97 on revenue of $2.33B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $2.46 on revenue of $2.95B in the previous quarter.
